Pay: $14.43 to $16.83 depending on experience
Monday - Thursday: 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 4:30

Certifications: Valid Oklahoma driver's license required. Must be insurable under the district's insurance policy. OSHA safety training and pesticide application certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Experience: Career training or two years of experience in a related area, preferred.

Direct Supervisor: Director of Maintenance
Primary Function: To ensure the proper maintenance, cleanliness, and safety of the district's buildings and grounds across two campuses. Responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance tasks to support the learning environment and daily operations of the district.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC related repairs.
2. Maintain grounds including mowing, trimming, planting, weeding, and snow/ice removal as needed.
3. Inspect buildings and grounds regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
4. Clean and maintain custodial equipment and ensure supplies are stocked appropriately.
5. Work cooperatively with housekeeping staff and respond to site maintenance requests.
6. Set up and break down furniture and equipment for events and activities.
7. Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in a safe, working order.
8. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and submit reports as needed.
9. Follow all district safety protocols and procedures; wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed.
10. Respond to emergency maintenance needs outside of regular work hours when required.
11. Transport equipment, furniture, and supplies throughout the district as needed.
12. Fill in as housekeeping when necessary.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

- Work requires physical strength and stamina. Demands include bending, stooping, kneeling, crawling, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, finger dexterity, feeling, hearing, learning, near acuity, far acuity, depth perception, field of vision (naturally or with correction), isolation, good eye-hand coordination. Duties may involve working on ladders, in high places, or within confined spaces. The employee may be exposed to varying air quality conditions, including dust, fumes, chemicals, and outdoor allergens.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance.
- Perform under stress when confronted with emergency, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situations in which working with speed and sustained attention are critical aspects of the job.
